This is a 4 days Ngorongoro and Serengeti safari to Tanzania’s wildlife destinations where you will meet all the big five animals and other wildlife species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the great wildebeest migration. This safari will begin and end in Arusha. The wildlife species will be spotted while on the game drives that you will conduct in Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Our company representative driver guide will pick you up from a hotel in Arusha and drive you to Ngorongoro Crater. It will take about 3 to 4 hours to get there, and upon arrival, you will check into a lodge and have lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the briefing and afterwards go for an afternoon game drive.
You will be accompanied by a guide, and you will descend into the crater to explore its diverse ecosystems. During the afternoon game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five animals and other wildlife species that inhabit the area. You will take about 3 to 4 hours while on this game drive. After, return to your lodge for relaxing, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will be briefed and afterwards head back into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. The full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater will begin at 6 am and end at 5 pm. You will head to the crater with a packed lunch. You will spot numerous animals rising from their habitats, such as lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests and many more. You will then have a break to enjoy a picnic lunch.
After having lunch, you will continue with the full-day game drive as you explore the wildlife and other attractions in the Ngorongoro Crater. You will head back to the lodge with the guide. You will relax at the lodge, have dinner and then go to bed.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive
After breakfast, check out of the lodge, and the guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the park, check into your lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will head out of the lodge and go for an afternoon game drive in the open Serengeti plains. While on the game drive, you will spot several wildlife species, such as lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras and many more. If you visit this park during the great wildebeest migration season, you will be able to witness the wildebeest migration, where you will see wildebeest moving in large numbers. After the afternoon game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive in Serengeti National Park and return to Arusha
After breakfast at the lodge, head out for a morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The morning is the best time to spot a wide variety of wildlife since it is when the animals are very active. Serengeti National Park is a shelter to a variety of animals, including the Big Five. Apart from the big five animals, there are other wildlife species to see, like the zebras, wildebeests and many more, including bird species. The morning game drive will be done in the Serengeti open plains, and it will take about 3 to 4 hours.
After the morning game drive, you will go and enjoy a lunch meal at the park lodge. After having lunch, you will check out of the lodge, and the guide will drive you back to Arusha and drop you off at a hotel.
