Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ngorongoro

Depending on your location in Arusha or your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our safari driver will pick you up and transfer you to Ngorongoro Crater. Expect to enjoy a scenic drive through the highlands to your camp. Check in, have lunch and relax, with an option for a cultural stop in areas like Mto wa Mbu.

Day 2: Full Days in Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day’s game drive, where you will explore the diverse habitats, including grasslands, a soda lake, and forests. Expect to spot numerous wildlife, including lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, hippos and flamingos, among others.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater surrounded by the unique scenery. Return to your lodge or camp in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Departure

After breakfast, followed by a final shorter game drive, depending on your schedule. You may visit Olduvai Gorge for a historical and cultural experience before heading back. Then, drive back to Arusha or your departure flight or be dropped off at any place of choice. End of the tour.
