This is a 2 days Ngorongoro Crater Big Five safari that takes you to the home of the big five animals, namely the lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. This short Tanzania safari will begin in Arusha and end in Arusha. You will go to the Ngorongoro Crater to see the wildlife and numerous attractions there, like the craters, among others. The viewing of wildlife will be done during the game drives that you will engage in.

Day 1: Pick up from a hotel in Arusha and go to Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive

You will meet and greet with our company’s professional driver guide, who will brief you about the safari, and then you will set off to Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive and check into a lodge. After settling in, you will be served lunch. After having lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive.

The guide will pick you up from the lodge, and you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend into the crater, and you will encounter a variety of wildlife species. You will have views of the craters and many amazing attractions. You will take about 3 to 4 hours while on the afternoon game drive. You will then get back to the lodge for relaxing, dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer back to Arusha

You will have breakfast in the morning, and you will be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will go for an early morning game drive. The morning game drive will begin at 6 am and take about 4 hours, ending at around 10 am. You will descend into the crater to have views of animals. You will have the opportunity to spot the big five animals since Ngorongoro Crater is home to all the big five animals, which are the lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. You will also spot other animals like zebras, wildebeests and many more.

The guide will take you back to the lodge, and you will have lunch. After having lunch, you will check out. The guide will then transfer you back to Arusha. You will be taken to a hotel of your choice, where you will be left.
