Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar to Ngorongoro Crater

Take a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where you will meet up with your driver guide and then be driven to Ngorongoro Crater. The drive is estimated to be 2 hours. Often marked as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the planet’s largest unbroken crater.

Ngorongoro Crater is also known for featuring expansive areas of acacia forest, swamps bustling with hippos, and open grasslands. Maasai people tend to their cattle, coexisting with buffalo and wildebeest.

Enjoy lunch within the crater, and as the day draws to a close, be later guided to your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park and then depart for the airport.

After morning breakfast, start the journey to Tarangire National Park for an enthralling game drive. The park covers an expansive 3,000 square kilometres.

Tarangire National Park derives its name from the meandering Tarangire River that traverses its expanse.

You will encounter many wildlife and bird species. Enjoy lunch within the park before driving back to Arusha or proceeding to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. End of the Tour.
